UK Dairy Day

The International Centre, Telford, Shropshire

UK Dairy Day is a dedicated annual one day event for the dairy industry held at the International Centre in Telford, Shropshire at a key time of the year for the dairy industry. The 4th event will be held on Wednesday 13th September 2017 from 8.00am to 5.30pm focused on the theme of 'Sharing Knowledge'.

The event is free to attend, with no pre-registration required and car parking is free. The event features over 300 trade stands located throughout the internal halls and exhibition area along with external trade stands. A ‘Sharing Knowledge’ zone will be located on the first floor with seminars throughout the day covering relevant topics related to the cow, team and farm. Externally there will also be demonstrations on foot trimming, knife sharpening, dairy cow anatomy and other cow health related subjects. The event features a cattle show for dairy breeds and this year will host The National Ayrshire Show and The National Holstein Show.

New for 2017 the show will also include a Calf Rearing Zone, Making more from milk zone and NDBC Breed Village.

We hope to see you at this years event! Available as part of the company’s Cut to Clamp initiative launched earlier this year, which aims to help farmers produce consistently better silage by focusing on best practice methods for making and feeding silage, we will also be offering a number of no obligation, free on-farm consultations with a silage expert. Come and visit Volac at stand H221 for friendly advice and to book your silage consultation.
